For those seeking speed, don't forget the new Thursday nigt runs will also be training sessions. Not short track intervals but helpful just the same with longer runs and tempos as well as fun events that will get your legs working but at a level for everyone.

Well I kinda figured that. I was hoping for something a bit more specialist - but perhaps my weight focus needs to sharpen. There's so little time till 5th Ave.

I'm going to the Catskills running this weekend and will do long hill runs. So I guess track twice a week doing 400s and 200s for the rest of the month.

Eat less, reduce body fat/weight and you'll go faster in every distance! This is not a joke ;)

OK so I might be around for the 5th Ave Mile. I'm training for the marathon too and have a 20 mile leg of a relay to do the week before, so what quick training can I do for 5th Ave that will make a difference?
