I will be at the NJ Marathon (10th time, 6th consecutive, 103rd marathon). I am the 6-hour pacer. I will be within a few seconds of my goal time, so I expect all of you to complete two laps before I complete one. Say hello as you pass me.

Here I am from last year -

Hey Guys,
I started 2 new groups for big specific races:
The Boston Marathon:
http://vctconline.ning.com/group/bostonmarathon
and

The NYC Marathon:
http://vctconline.ning.com/group/nycmarathon
I would suggest joining these groups if you are specifically running these races. I hope the club members can start using the group functions more to communicate so we can discuss big and small details about sharing our race experiences and questions without bothering the other members of the club (yahoo groups issues). I suggest you join if you are doing or planning to do any of those big club races.

I notice there's been a lot of talk about Boston on Yahoo Groups (my own included) but wouldn't it be better if marathon chat was all done on the Marathoner's Group page? Maybe I'll send an email to remind people. FYI I'm doing the NJ Marathon. I hear Mike Arnstein and Dave Isaac are too. Anyone else?

Jason,
Last year we left at about the same time and it worked. Not much time to hang around out there, but that was ok.

Does anybody else think that a 7:15 departure might be cutting it a bit close for a wave 1 start at 9:40? Baggage check and bathroom lines are usually a real pain.

Who is racing next weekend in Staten Island?
Anyone interested in turning it into a long run? (slow and easy before the race)

Cheers - and great racing this past weekend!!
