The Leatherman's Loop

The Van Cortlandt Track Club Journeys to Pound Ridge for a Trail Race

Eight members of the club ran the Leatherman's Loop on April 28, 2002. Conditions couldn't have been worse (or better...depending on who you are talking to). Temps were in the 40's, the winds were strong, and best of all, it was pouring rain. For anyone that knows this 10K course... it includes mud, sand pits, overflowing streams, and lots and lots of rocks, roots, and ups and downs.

the course begins and ends on this field
too much looking at the ground to appreciate the beauty!
