I'm a retired educator, as well as a frame drummer. When I'm not running or cycling, I'm plying and/or practicing.

Most memorable performance(s) and why?

Frostbite 10 miler in Central Park. I was holding a good pace, and was able to maintain it for the distance.

Broadway Ultra Society 50K. I ran without much long distance training on my 55th birthday, and finished, placing 55th overall.

Why do you run?

Running is simple, No equipment needed. I do most of my creative thinking while running. It is a zen-like exercise

Keep doing what you're doing! The club has grown, the enthusiasm is contageous, the group runs as well as track workouts are back, the web site is awesome!
