I’ve just opened a book about something I’ve done. Three weeks have passed since the event. My wife gave me the book months before I had decided to run it. We both thought the book, “Why We Run,” was about something else. The coincidence is remarkable. It’s a true story. The book would have been a good insight into the adventure. It describes an ordeal. The weather held off and the conditions were calm and not too hot, although it was a 7am start! Good enough for 10 PRs and a new age group Club Record on the same course on which Perry set it last year - sorry Perry.
The first to PR was Jeff down from 1.31.33 to 1.30.14, followed by
Erick down massively from 1.36.25 to 1.31.46 and an Age Graded PR up from 64.2% to 64.5%. Bother are going to after that sub-1.30 title threshold now.
Allen and Matt broke through the 1.40…
