started with VCTC a few months after it was founded, ran with club until 1989, stop running and started back to running over the pass year and rejoined the worlds best running club 1 month ago

Stop keeping track of times in my second running life
How did you get into running?
Loved running since I was a little boy. My farther would take me to road races when distance running in the Bronx was based around Yankee stadium and they would run up Sedgwick Ave. I fell in love with it and started running track in 1958.
Year's you've been running?
38 years in my first running life, 1 year in my second running life
What's your favorite race(s)?
12 hour races, and 15k cross country in Van Cortlandt
Most memorable performance(s) and why?
DNF in a 100 miler at Shae Stadium, did 89 miles(still haunts me) but it was the support that I had from VCTC members was incredible, race started at 6pm and I was out there for 19hrs and VCTC was there in numbers.

Why do you run?
I don't know. I just love the sport and the people involved in the sport
What do you consider yourself, The Tortoise, or The Hare?
I am for sure the Tortoise
to do a multi day run and and finish a 100 miler. I guess if I do a 6 day race I should finally get that 100 mile. That DNF will always haunt me.

It feels great to be back with the worlds greatest running club.
