Participating in NYRR races since Jan 2012. Its not an every weekend event, but i've run five races to date. Novels by Cormac McCarthy, James Ellroy.

How did you get into running?

Incorporated treadmill running for the past several years as part of a more fitness friendly lifestyle. Met road runners who fueled my competitive spirit while also showing me a great way to rejuvenate my fitness goals.

What's your favorite race(s)?

The Half-Marathon format.

Most memorable performance(s) and why?

nyc half marathon. Though I ran a faster half later on, since the nyc half I haven't winced or sheepishly smiled away the "are you a runner?" question.

Why do you run?

For world peace, the children, and for a carbon footprint I can be proud of.

2013 NYC Marathon? First things first, I guess i'll train for an 18-miler and take it from there.
