Healthy Kidney 10k May 15th, 2010
In addition to some great VCTC team results mentioned by Bette, I can confirm that the men are now 2nd in the Open B league. But there were a good many PRs set on Saturday too.
Lou Csak ran 41.44 down from 43.29 (you're never to old to run well).
Erick Fernandez took ONE second off his PR to run 42.10.
Dom took a minute off his to run 46.38.
Alex continued her improvement down from 52.45 to 51.51.
Jo Ann slices 6s off her PR to et 54.40.
Robert Branch smashed his 10k down from 57.43 to 54.59 AND improved his Mar 28th AG% from 49.3%.
Adrian excelled improving her AG% set in Aug 07 a tenth to 66.3%.
Melinda Abbott took 2 mins off with 56.54 and seriously improved her AG from 51.7 to 53.6%.
While not a record, it was close, Susan came within 0.4 of her AG PR running 68.5%.
Lastly, yours truly broke the 50+ Club Record set by Justino Valentino in May 93 on Roosevelt Island; down from 38.47 to 36.25, whil equalling the Overall Age Graded Club Record of 84.9%.
It is also interesting to see how on form Perry is. He ran an AG 79.6%, near his best of 80.1% following a string of 78%+ races to help the 40s, 50s and the open teams score so well.
