Hey I'm thinking about putting together an ultra in Van Cortlandt Park this May 50m/100k/100m (around the parade grounds. You into something like that? I think it could be done if we get 25 runners and 10 volunteers.
There is a group run at 8am tomorrow as per normal but next week there is also an ultra group doing a 20 miler in the area starting at 10am from the end of the #1 train. I'll be doing the 5M in Central Park though next week.
Seems we have another ultra-runner. Welcome to VCTC. Mike ran the 4th fastest JFK 50 ever this year and I've trotted out 2 or 3 100 milers. You'll be in good company. That's a great 50k time you have and any Ironman time is great. Maybe we could do long runs together.
