Around 300 runners came out for the Ramble and Fun Run despite the hot, steamy weather. With temps rapidly climbing up to the mid 80's, runners took it easier this year. Every runner that finished this race in one piece deserved special recognition this time around! Our winners was local hero Steven Marselese and Yvonne Damm of Queens. Steven was able to pull off a respectable 36:22, and Yvonne came in with a 46:10. At the conclusion of the race, runners enjoyed the usual selection of oranges, bananas, and Bagel Corner Bagels. Racers hailed from all over: Escot, England ... Ottawa, Canada ... Moab, Utah .... Special recogniton goes to Race Director Yuen Chun for making the race a success despite many hurdles, and Ken Rolston, who had the courage to remove a dead raccoon from the course in the pre-dawn hours. |
All the way from Moab, Utah to sample our famous course! |
First Male, Steven Marselese |
First Female, Yvonne Damm |
