FACT SHEET ON THE 2002 RAMBLE

Race director: Arnie gore

The beautiful and demanding Riverdale Ramble, run by thousands of young and old since 1978 ... is waiting for you!

What a course! There's nothing like it in the whole NYC metro area.

The course loops around at 252nd street, and doubles back on Palisade Avenue, the most popular part of the course.

You climb past high-rise co-ops, then run along the Hudson river through a lush rural setting unlike any other in NYC.

Work your way up past majestic Wave Hill and down through great estates that will take your breath away - guaranteed.

The last half mile is downhill leading to a fast sprint around the JFK High School track.

This is an accomplishment you will be able to brag about!

Mile 2: Palisade Avenue Running up the famous "Wave Hill" Mile 3: Independence Avenue course midpoint: top of the hill!
